DAC board information wanted

I recently bought a //e that had a "MMI DAC Board" in it. It's dated 1982 and
is by Temporal Acuity Products, Inc.

It has two RCA jacks labeled Spkr out and Aux out respectively.

Anybody know how this was used? What software was used? Anything else?
