     Evidently, whatever sort of reader you are using just dumps the html
source to you. That would, indeed, be messy.

     That's too bad. It looks really nice and compact on a PC running
Netscape. Plus, to see the listing of contest articles from Deja News, you
just need to click on the highlighted word "link".
