     Depending upon where it comes from, error 0027 can also be a system
failure "File map destroyed" error.

     Evidently, the files from Apple's site are still the ones you need to
process through the Mac. Perhaps a Mac user has some ideas about where the Mac
.sea process for getting a IIgs diskette might go wrong.


     On the other hand, you did get through most of the boot process. A normal
System 6.0.1 startup needs more memory than earlier Systems. Maybe, despite the
particular error message, you are running into a crash related to not having
enough memory. One experiment would be to move CDA's, NDA's, most CDEV's, and
unneeded drivers to a Temp/ folder and try booting a slimmed-down Sys 6.0.1;
or, you could try a Shift boot.
