That's right. Nobody's trying to own it. However, I believe that some sense of
organization would be useful.

Chuck said earlier that he will handle (coordinate) version number changes. I
believe that's reasonable since he's already managed ProSel for over 10 years. 
I suppose he'll just check your work against other folks' work and tell you
which version number is available and ok to use. He was the one who gave me
v8.90. Sounds like a lot of work to me, but somebody's got to do it, I suppose.
On the other hand, if you don't want to tell him about your updates, then you
are free not to.
