As Chuck said, you can use a SuperDrive or equivalent with a suitable
SuperDrive controller card.

There is also the BlueDisk controller card which allows you to use
standard IBM style 5.25" and 3.5" floppy drives.  You can hook up two
drives ranging in sizes from 360k to 2.88 MB.

Another option is to get a SCSI device that can use 1.44 MB floppies.
Flopticals are the first thing that comes to mind but there might be
other SCSI devices out there that have this capability.  Of course,
with this option, you need to have a SCSI card for you IIgs and you
might need a driver of some kind to get the drive to work.
