Image File Help

When transferring image files via Dsk2File, what file type should the
dsk.images be?  I've downloaded a slew of files from Asimov (on my Powermac)
and have tried to transfer them over to my GS but they never turn out. The
files, however, work perfectly on Bernie & Catakig. Am I missing something
important? They files transfer over on my GS at exactly 143,360 k, But the
filetype is always unknown. The odd thing is... when I use DSK2FILE to make
an image (of the pathetically few disks I have) they turn out Binary. Oh
yeah, one other thing... Can I use Copy ][ Plus to format my 5.25 disks for
Dos 3.3 (I don't have an actual 3.3 disk, plenty of images... no disks.) and
have DSK2FILE still work? 

If anyone can help, please do. I've got a ][gs, an LC w/ Apple ][ card, and
an Apple ][e sitting here doing nothing more than wasting space... and
they're beginning to look like boat anchors to me.
