Has anyone else had trouble getting the case off a Composite Monitor ][e?

I've got a Composite Monitor ][e   model #A2M6021.
The v. hold circuit is slipping a little, so i decided to fix it.

Aside from the six screws that are visible, I don't see anything else used
to hold it together.
The back slides off about an inch then get's stuck, probably by cableing.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Also, if anyone has/or knows where I can get some schematics of it, I would
much appreaciate it.
