Hello fellow Apple users,
I have the opportunity to go check out a whole bunch of apple II stuff
that some guy bought from a school auction. He supposedly has some sider
hard drives among many other things. My question is this, can someone
give me a description of the controller card for these things? What kind
of plug does it have for the interface cable, and if there is more than
one card there, what is the best way to match it up with the right drive?
Please be as specific as you can, I have never checked one of these out in
detail, the last time I saw one was in 1986 at an Apple users group
meeting.
Lastly, I'm sure that these drives came with some kind of software
utilities on disk. Can someone give me an idea of how these disks would
be labeled? Apparently the guy have a whole bunch of disks as well. I
sincerely appreciate any info.
best regards,
Tom
