Dunamis Powerpad ???

I just rescued a large graphics tablet called a Dunamis Powerpad from the
scrap heap. Does anyone out there in Appleland know anything about this
beast or know of any software available for it?

It has a 16 pin game connector but it doesn't work connected directly to
the computer. An instruction sheet that came with it suggests that either
a
"Power Port" or something called "The Porter" is needed to connect it.

I was hoping I could use it with some 8 bit paint program to do hi-res 
graphics. There are no buttons on it though so I don't know how one could
access drop down menus or select tools. Dunamis and the company it was
purchased from, Don Johnston Developmental Equipment do not appear to be
in business any longer.
