Does the program run from the disk? If not, try booting the system disk that 
came with the AppleWorks GS and see if that works.  When I tried to run that 
version just now running with System 6.0.1 I got the same message. Maybe it 
is not compatible with System 6.0.1. You really need to be running the last 
version, AppleWorks GS version1.1.
