And just another note, related though not exactly to the point of this
thread. Should you get a file from a MacOS application, even a text file,
which has a resource fork, load it into the freeware text editor DA Hermes
and then save it. Hermes does not object to loading this but when you go
to save it as a text file will ask you which fork you wish to save.
Selecting the data fork gets rid of the part of the file which ProDOS 8
can't deal with it.
