I saw someone saying that Apple says no dice in a Q605, but I have no first
hand experience.

The 550 is an even better swap. The boards aren't exactly a dime a dozen like
some Mac stuff so I took what I could get. Both are 32 bit clean and have a
32 bit bus and can handle up to 36 mb of memory via a 72 pin SIMM slot. The
difference is 520s have a 25 MHZ clock and 550s have 33 MHz.

They are a direct plug 'n play swap too, since they have the exact same 
dimensions and connectors/ports as the CC board.
