If your Solid-Apple Key is stuck, you need to get it un-stuck.
Some keyboards allow pulling the key cap and, then, popping out the
plundger of the key switch. Try doing this. If your KB switch is the
crosspoint type, there will be a gold wire which you can extract from
the switch using tweezers (or you can use a dampened swab to pick out
the wire). Extract the wire gently to avoid bending it. Once the wire is
removed, the switch should no longer be stuck.
If the above gets rid of the problem, you can try cleaning out the
switch and replacing the wire (all, of course, assuming we are talking
about a crosspoint keyswitch). Possibly, you will need to replace the
Solid Apple KB switch.
