A IIGS TrueType font is literally the same as a Mac TrueType font.
Go to http://www.crl.com/~joko Shareware Solutions II and read
about Pointless, the program that lets you use TrueType fonts on
the IIGS.

Pointless modifies Mac TrueType fonts in one way: it sets the IIGS
file type and aux type to read as a TrueType font in GS/OS.

If you have a large collection of Mac TrueTypes, I strongly
recommend getting Pointless for the IIGS.  It opens up a whole
new world of quality printing.

There is also a program to convert Windows TrueType fonts
to the IIGS format for Pointless to use.
