Yes, you can certainly do that.  Once you've got GSOS 6.01 up and running,
you'll also be able to network to you macs. I currently have a network
running with and iMac ethernetted to a 660AV and Localbridged to the GS. 
I think it's pretty cool to see the iMac's 4 Gig drive on the GS desktop!

Not without a special card.

You can certainly hook up the Imagewriter II or LQ to it, see the manual
for info.

Again, once you have GSOS 6.01, you can do it the same way as the mac,
about this in the apple menu.  You could have a look inside the box and
see if there is a Ram card in the slot towards the front of the machine. 
An examination of that would give you some idea.
