No, it is a DS1216E.

The 'C' version of the SmartWatch goes under a 28- pin static RAM (8KB
or 32KB), while the 'E' version goes under a 28-pin ROM or EPROM.
Different methods are required to access the time registers, and the ROM
version has no need to supply backup power to the piggybacked memory.
