During the download or saving process, it is possible that Netscape ads
a binary header or something similar. Try a program like MPack to decode
the file, or have a look inside the file with an editor or word
processor program. Then transfer it to the GS and it'll work.

BTW, wasn't ProTYPE written for this purpose?
