I learned BASIC on a Sinclair ZX80.  It was white.  My friend who
owned it had ordered it as a kit, but it came already assembled.
He was a little disappointed by that since he looked forward to
assembling it!  Another friend had a Vic-20.  I liked that much
better.  I soon bought a Vic-20 for my very own.
