If you have more than one composite monitor, try swapping monitors.
Also, try swapping connector cables. Some monitors may need to be
adjusted to get a display-- so, diddle Intensity, Brightness, and Input
Level (if there is such a control on your monitor).
If no composite monitor works with the GS, you could use a 'scope
and hunt for a signal using the GS schematic. For example, if you find a
signal going into the output transistor's Base and zilch coming out, a
bad transistor is a fairly good bet.
