You are right about the 90MHz chip, but the web site is not about a SNES
emulator but a NES emulator.  I still think the GS is too slow for SNES
however.  I have a copy of one of the better SNES emulators as well as a
NES emulator.  The SNES emulator is somewhat slow on a 486DX 100Mhz.
Now this is a real-time emulator and compiling the code for a proccessor
would help, but you will still have to emulate the graphics hardware
real-time.  This is where you would lose speed.  Also the color quality
of the GS is not near as good. You would also have to do it on a sped up
GS, so that limits the amount of machines that run it right there. Now
it may be possible to do it by modifiing the hardware extensively, but
you might as well save your money and buy a SNES.  I think the NES is
the most viable emulator for that genre of consoles.
