It looks like the differences between your TWGS and Tony's are
that he's got the new 65C816 chip, a faster oscillator, a new
ROM plus 32k cache.

You're going to need at least v1.5 ROM to go above 7Mhz.

Since his RamFAST is compatible with a set of "A" GALs, it
may be that an upgrade of the ROM and CPU (plus oscillator)
is in order.  The old 65C816 chips in the oldest TWGS were
really flaky because of the flaws in the early chips.  The new
65C816 units, on the other hand are very reliable at higher
speeds.  Commodore accelerators have them going at 20Mhz
and they've never had a single failure in hundreds of units.
