Don't worry, I don't think that of anyone.  In fact, I like users
asking questions.  In my book, all questions are good questions!

And forgive me if I seem to be repetetive: I just thought you
wanted a repost of what was said before because you wrote
that you lost the old posts.

For the CGA, I'm afraid I don't know....never had the cable.
For ColorSwitch, the 10 way ribbon cable ends in a 10 pin
ribbon socket which plugs into the ColorSwitch card.

I'm guessing, but on the CGA cable, one of the pins probably
connected to the shield of the DB9 connector.  Which wire
I don't know.
