The browser, called SIS (Spectrum Internet Suite) runs pretty
much like a GUI version of Lynx.  Links become clickable,
etc.  HTMLized text styles are rendered as they should look
(placement, intalics, underline, size, etc).

They've also mapped the Netscape navigation model on the
tool bar, so the "back, forward, etc." buttons work as they do
on Netscape.

Graphics are not yet supported (that may change in the future)
and TCP/IP is also not used (that may be changing as we speak).
Spectrum 2.2 is supposed to start shipping and it includes
TCP/IP support (32 sockets).

The current SIS runs on a telnet connection.

You can send email with it, though, and that's pretty neat.

Seven Hills has side by side screenshots of Netscape and
SIS viewing web pages and the SIS screenshots are much
more faithful to the Netscape ones than Lynx is.

The apparent future development direction of SIS is to
get running on a TCP/IP link and then supporting IIGS
SHR format graphics identified with HTML tags. synthLAB
sequences may also be possible.
