SuperDisk Problems On iMac

Hello,

  Has anyone experienced problems with the usb superdisk not recognizing
inserted disks on an iMac?  Sometimes it sees the disk sometimes it does
not.  I was told a powered hub seems to help but does not totally fix
the problem.  At one point it recognized the disk in the drive but
did not recognize the format (120mb) and wanted me to initialize it.
After ejecting and re-inserting it saw the disk o.k.
