I don't know whether this is the _best_ way, but I simply booted my //c
using the "DOS 3.3 Basics" disk (the one that tells you to put in your
13-sector disk), booted the DOS 3.2 system disk and then used the copy
program on that to back it up. Worked perfectly.

Yes, how _do_ you write 13-sector disks to .DSK images?
