They are quite rare.  Not many were sold and Apple didn't sell them
for long.  The one in shrinkwrap is priceless, so keep it in the wrap
and box.  I suspect at auction, you could probably fetch US$500 for
that one (I am not an appraiser, so that is not an official
appraisal).

The other one is probably worth less, around anywhere from
US$75-US$300.

The LCD was probably the best Apple could do at the time without
having to raise the cost of the panel outside of their price point
(the home user).

Yes, I am running mine on my IIc+.  The handle needs to be in the down
position having it prop up the machine in order for the connector to
get a firm connection to the system.
