As for the rarity, I can't comment very much. Some people want $50-$150 for
them.
I paid $50 for a LCD display, a //c+ and a carrying case.
The display works gread on my //c+.
As for viewing try switching to reverse video.
Daylight is best for vieving. Whight light is much better than yellowish light.
If I could just get a batterry pack for my //c+........
Personally, I use my //c+ and LCSD with GEOS. (Graphic Environment Operating
System)
GEOS is like the Macintosh Finder and works oin the Apple //e (non-enhanced,
enhanced, and platinum), //c, //c+, and //gs (Rom 1 and ROM 3). It is ProDOS
compatable.
