    Yep, or leaving the IIc and LCD screen sitting in front of 
a window that gets lots of direct sunlight. I find that to be
the only time I can bearably use my C-Vue, which limits my use
of it to mornings and afternoons (any daylight works well, but
bright sunlight works best). At night I can use a halogen lamp
off to the side, but it is only borderline viewable, and that
is being really generous.

    Heh, it just hit me as to why the back side of my C-Vue
is so badly yellowed. It would appear its former owner had the
same idea I had (about the sunny window) and it got UV-damage.
In any case, even with the sunlight solution, it is rare that
I use my LCD display because of its poor viewability.
