A IIgs 'Stereo Board' typically uses a Slot as a place to get power
and to physically support the board. I do not know whether or not the
Sonic Blaster has any special stuff requiring access to Slot bus
signals-- probably, it does not.

The main task of such a board is just to de-multiplex IIgs sound
into two channels. It also does some filtering, boosts the level a bit,
and may supply outputs which can directly drive speakers. Some boards
include a sound input for use with digitizing software like Sound Shop.
