Thought I'd weigh in on this. My IIGS is a ROM 03 and has absolutely
no cards in it and only a single 800K floppy attached. (I'm kind of
a //e guy.) I set my netboot startup app to be BASIC.SYSTEM. I netboot
from the GS, and type 10 ? CHR$(4);"CAT":GOTO 10, and RUN it. Within
2-3 minutes it hangs, on either speed. But on my IIe, it runs forever.
This is kind of a bummer because I'd really like there to be a cheap
and easily available bridge for netatalk. The Etherwave and iPrint
seem suitable for a IIe, but for a IIgs, it seems a little less clear.
And don't even get me started on the AsanteTalk...
