You need one of two things. Either the Crossworks
package from http://www.sequential.com/ Sequential
Systems or a null-modem connection.
You were trying to do a null modem connection but
using the wrong cables.
Instead, get an "Apple IIc to ImageWriter I" cable.
Also get a DB-25 gender changer and a PC modem
cable (DB-9 to DB-25) for the PC. Now connect
the IIc cable to the IIc and the PC cable to the PC.
Connect the other ends of those cables to either
side of the gender changer.
Now you need software. http://www.intrec.com/
Intrec sells ProTERM 3.1.
Finally, get ProTERM 3.1 up and running. DO NOT
try ASCII transfers. Why do ASCII? ProTERM 3.1
does Zmodem, Ymodem, Xmodem, Kermit, etc.
