Hard drives are one thing you should try to get new because they
are sealed and the lubrication inside eventually wonks out.  At that
point, your data will be in jeopardy.

Some months ago, I got an 1GB SCSI-II mechanism made by IBM
from http://www.surplusdirect.com/ Surplus Direct for under $100.
This worked fin under the HS SCSI card.

In fact, I believe ANY SCSI drive (any SCSI variation, II, ultra,
wide, I, whatever) will work with the HS SCSI card.

When my sister got a 2GB unit for her Windows PC, for example,
I highjacked it before she had a chance to fdisk it just to see if
the HS SCSI card would like it.  I installed it inside an enclosure,
added it to the HS SCSI card's chain, ran ADU, and paritioned
it neatly into 4 approximately 500MB HFS volumes.  It worked
fine!
