Places that sell new hard disks don't sell anything under 2 gigs now, plus
they're all ultra SCSI or wide SCSI. Overkill on an Apple II even if they
would work. I have an APS SR2000 enclosure with an old castoff Quantum 230
with Apple ROM on my IIgs. The SR2000 is a nice compact enclosure and even
has APS' digital active termination. That cures any termination problems
with HS SCSI cards (and other problem children like Mac Pluses, IIfxes, and
Powerbooks). But they are a bit pricey to buy as a do it yourself kit. You
can find APS at www.apstech.com.
