Forget this cable.

What you want is a 25 pin serial cable, straight through, with the right
gender.  http://www.jdr.com/ JDR Microdevices has these as does
http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech Electronics.

These are simply cables in which all 25 pins are connected.

That should do it.
