I find this rather curious, as every press release I've seen has stated
that Intel will buy Shiva Corp. for $185 million, or $6 per share.  In
no release was there ever any mention of Dayna.

I find this even more curious, for two reasons.  One, Intel has stated in
the press releases that "it does not expect any immediate changes to Shiva's
product line and that Shiva will continue to provide its products for
customers under their existing contracts."  And two, the buy-out will not
occur until government regulators and Shiva's shareholders approve the deal.
So how could Intel have already discontinued those products?  In fact,
because of the pending deal, Intel and Shiva have entered a "quiet period"
in which there is to be no contact between the employees of each company,
except through designated liasons.

Anyway, I'm just curious what your source is.  I'd love to read it.
