Well I have four IIe's presently, but all but one of them has
been put into storage. Admittely I rarely turn it on these
days, but it is connected and set up, ready to run. That system
has the following:
Revision B motherboard (820-0087-A), Enhanced chipset
Slot 1: Apple II Memory Expansion Card with 1 MB (sometimes in GS)
Slot 2: Apple Super Serial Card
Slot 3: AE Datalink 1200 baud internal modem
Slot 4: Apple II Mouse Interface
Slot 5: AE Phasor sound card
Slot 6: Apple I/O 5.25 controller
Slot 7: AE TimeMaster II H.O. clock card
Aux slot: 512K Microcomm Mega RAM 80 (RamWorks clone)
I have a Titan Accelerator II (3.5 MHz) in a box which I pulled
from this system because it was acting flakely (plus dozens of
other neat cards, though they live in the other IIe's).
The rest isn't too exciting, a DuoDisk 5.25 drive, Monitor II
monochrome display, Apple mouse, beige Mach III joystick. I'd
like to replace it with a Platinum IIe and add a Focus hardisk
one of these days. An Apple Color Monitor IIe would be neat as
well, the green screen gets a little drab. I also have an old
ImageWriter 1 hanging around, though lack the proper cable to
hook it up. I have a late model Apple IIc sitting next to it,
which reminds me of the old ads, "IIe or IIc? That is the
Question". The setup I have is exactly the photo shown in that
ad (just have to boot a copy of AppleWorks 1.0 to display on
both screens). :)
