If it has the "old monitor" ROMs on it, it can be very useful when you want
to deprotect software, because ctrl-reset always dumps you in the Monitor.
Also, you can replace the ROMs with EPROMs (2716, I think) and completely
change the personality of the computer. In the old days, some companies
used to sell EPROM sets for that card -- mostly cracking aids, but I seem
to recall a company that replaced the BASIC interpreter with some version
of Forth. Does this ring a bell, anyone?
I've always wanted to put a simple editor/assembler on one of those,
but never got round to doing it. Sigh.
