If you take a close look you'll see that the bigger ROMs are standard EPROMS,all the
ROM 3 boards are made to take either socket. Some boards had a mixture
of the two. The boards with EPROMs do apear to be a lot less common.

Opinions about better vary, but it is much faster than the High-speed SCSI.With my
hard drive on a strait read I find it 60% faster, the built in memory
improves things even more when rereading something.

The Echo+ is a primative sound card. Origionally put out for the IIe or maybe
II+ at least a couple years before the IIgs existed. Better than the later Echo II
in that at least its stereo. Came with one speaker that you plugged into the jack
labeled Mono. Don't know if they ever sold them with 2 speakers.

Sounds like the digitizer card card that cme with HyperStudio. The mini stereo jackis
for a microphone
