Tell me why the admin of an FTP site should not exercise some responsibility
on his own. I have watched the way Steve Nelson does this at Ground, and he
handles matters responsibly, and far more aggressively than your site. I
believe the admin of an FTP should even go beyond the call of duty to make
sure materials released for downloading do not violate copyright laws of the
intentions of the copyright holder. IMO, you should err on the side of
caution and with respect for the copyright holder. I don't see that
happening at your site, and I believe that is what is causing considerable
friction in the Apple II community.

I do understand from your post that you don't care about this. That's a
shame ....
