Here's some facts to ponder:
 
- All versions of CheckWorks are copyrighted.
 
- CheckWorks is a commercial software program that is published by
  Shareware Solutions II.
 
- As the Publisher of CheckWorks, I have legal rights to the program.
 
- CheckWorks 3 (a copyrighted program) was uploaded to asimov without
  anyone asking permission of the copyright holder.
 
- If the publisher of CheckWorks does not want an older, out-of-date, AND
  _copyrighted_ shareware version of CheckWorks to be available on asimov,
  that is entirely within his legal rights.
 
Now, in the event that anyone would actually want to spend all of $20 to
purchase CheckWorks - a complete checking account program that works from
within AppleWorks Classic - you can find additional information about it at
