Isn't it possible, and quite likely for that matter, that CheckWorks
v3 was reclassified from shareware to commercial status when Quality
picked up the rights to v4 to sell as a commercial program?
I have no idea, myself because I don't know the program or the people
involved personally. I'm just asking because it makes sense to me
that this would happen.
And from the quote of Joe's web page, that is what it looks like has
happenned since v3 in now included in the commercial version.
