Is it in fact non-daisy chainable?See if the bottom says Apple 3.5 drive
or Unidisk 3.5 .
If so check the back of the drive for a rectangular plastic insert.
It'll be the same colour as the case. Pry it off & you should find
a connector underneath. Apple put covers over some female connectors.
