Re: Questions about a IIgs....

Marlin,

In the case that you do have a Macintosh there is a very groovy way
to create GSOS system disks. If you ftp to ftp.apple.com (or go with a
web browser so you can just magically click on the name without typing it
in and perhaps thustly aiding in the prevention of such agonizing
conditions typists are plagued with such as the various forms of wrist
strain bla bla bla bla).. "Anyway there you are at ftp.apple.com" -- follow
the directoy paths starting with Apple_Software_Updates and through the
US directory and you should then see a directory with different computer
names. The one of interest in this matter is the Apple II folder. In
there reside usually two versions of everything. One in an Apple II
format like ".bsc" and one that is a Macintosh DISK COPY image. The
Disk Copy image is usually stuffed and binhexed or some generally
decipherable and profusely proliferous packing, stuffing, and encoding
protocols.
........
If you |
get the Mac images you can just pound them out on your Mac and toss them
whimsically into your IIgs and zoom off into the peculiar would of

                              G S O S 6.0.1 <ta da>
