I think Terry is thinking about a PC program that can read/write HFS
disks.  Several exists.  However, as you point out, these programs
do not work with Mac GCR 800k format disks.  They only work with
Mac MFM 1.44MB disks.

Luckily, the IIGS' 1.44MB HFS format disks are identical to Mac
1.44MB HFS disks, meaning that HFS high density disks is the
way to transfer.
