The unit does not need a switching power supply.  It just needs
a 12V-15V DC power source (regulator built in...see, the IIc was
designed to easily run from a car cigarette lighter or a battery
pack).

I don't have the pinout to the IIc power connector.  You'll need
it to properly connect + and - leads.
