I expect older Mac drivers (or some third-party ones) can't handle a
multi-session CD, or even a multi-partition single-session CD.
I'm not aware of any problem with single-session multi-partition CDs on
IIgs with Apple's drivers under 6.0.1, or with a RamFast - the System 6
Golden Master CD works fine, for example.
It is possible that Apple II drivers are not able to handle a
multi-session CD.
The trick is to make sure you write multiple partitions at the same
time. Having never used CD burning software, I don't know the details
of this.
