The SuperDrive reads 800k disks fine. I don't know any way to read 400k disks
on
a IIgs. Earlier Mac systems have no trouble with 400k disks on a SuperDrive, so
if
you do have appropriate software it wouldn't be a problem. Of course the real
question is why you would want to format good 800k disks as 400k. I'm curious!
