Lucky you.  I wouldn't mind a working RGB monitor for my IIgs (my
original one is almost dead, and I've had to resort to a composite
monochrome monitor).

At this point, Nathan would have ranted about Apple using the same
connector for different functions.  Enough, already. :-)

The D-15 connector on the IIc is not an RGB port.  It is a video
expansion port.  You need an appropriate adaptor to connect almost any
device to it.  (As far as I know, the only device that can be directly
connected is an LCD panel.)

There are RGB adaptors for the IIc, and I've heard that you can get both
analog and digital RGB ones.  To use the IIgs RGB monitor with the IIc,
you would need an analog RGB adaptor.

These devices are boxes that plug into the video expansion port, and
presumably provide a second D-15 connector.  (I've never seen one.)

I don't know much more about them, but perhaps someone else can supply
the missing details.
