Re: CMS SCSI II card



The only problem I see with the CMS card is that it is cranky at boot time.
If you don't set the disk seek time very high (2 minutes likely) it won't
see the disk... Also If you feel like restarting the computer you'll need to
shut it off and wait about 10 minutes for it to forget everything... And
boy, are you in trouble if you forget to turn on the hard drive.

Does any one know why this is (slow draining caps?  funny powersupply?)
I had an awful time when I didn't know much about it, I thought it was
broken and sent it back to the company, but when I got it back I got a nice
letter about how the default settings weren't good enough for the computer.
