Sorry, Patrick, my programming skills are very limited and I have
only cracked two programs...a demo of Paws Typing and
SongWriter.
I don't remember the specifics, but it involved breaking into Applesoft
BASIC after booting up in the protected version of DOS, then
launching Copy II+ FROM that DOS and finally copying all the
files to a normal DOS 3.3 disk.
Have you noticed there seems to be quite a few programs that
have no business being cracked....they were not originally
copy protected, but the cracking groups break into them
and add "pirate badges" just for the heck of it....sucks!
It has been many years, but does anyone remember the copy
protection used in the above programs? I just want to know
exactly WHAT I did to crack them. ;-)
